Italy 2019 - Lake Garda Day 9

Once we’d munched some anguria for breakfast, we hit the road heading north towards our next destination, Lake Garda, which is the largest lake in Italy. The journey took us through mountains and very picturesque scenery.
Along the way, we stopped off a couple of times for some coffee and crisps!
We arrived at Sirmione, a small town to the south of Lake Garda, in the early afternoon. The town is very beautiful and the water is crystal clear. We went for a stroll and found a bar on the beach and stopped for drinks, pizza, and snacks!
…Followed by gelato, obviously!
We then checked into our Airbnb, just outside of Sirmione. Our apartment is quite bijoux, but it has a private bit of beach looking out over the lake that is just blissful.
We decided to make the most of the lake and stay in for the evening. So, we went to the supermarket to stock up on supplies!
Our evening consisted of sitting by the lake, listening to the waves, playing cards, eating bread, hummus, and other treats, and watching the sun set. It was a well-needed break after all the walking and sightseeing!
